Janni Deler

Presenting our Robe Muse, Janni Deler - a trailblazer in the realm of fashion blogging, a brand owner, a mother of two; and a radiant source of sartorial inspiration to millions.

Janni, tell us how your journey began...

The journey began pretty quick, I was together with an athlete so we traveled a lot and after a while I started sharing some photos and the interest for it was huge. Back then there wasn't that many people on social media traveling like we did, so it was something new. I also shared my colorful outfits which was my thing back then, which also stood out from the typical swedish girl.

Reaching over one million followers on social media is an incredible milestone. How does having such a large following impact your daily life?

Not much beyond being beneficial for my work, I still maintain my usual self, haha!

Do you have any advice for aspiring bloggers in such a saturated industry?

It's harder now for sure, but I would say stay consistent and only post things you like. Maybe a niche to stand out, but don't try to copy someone else. I'm all for getting inspired, but make it your own content and if you love it it will show and people will see that.

You've shared that you've recently uncovered the authentic Janni and her aspirations in life. Do you have any advice for girls who might be feeling lost or lacking direction?

Oh it's just life, and getting older - that helps haha! I've been through a lot the last few years and felt a bit lost sometimes, having two kids close in age, finding who I am as a mom and then going through a divorce in the middle of it while also moving country a few times. So let's just say life is a rollercoaster but all hard times make you stronger. Always listen to your gut feeling, that's what I lost a bit in all of this but every time I just feel deep down it always turns out the best.

You have two beautiful children, how did motherhood change you and your personal style?

Oh it changed me completely, you live 100% for someone else and every decision in your life is based on what's best for them. And I love that. It's so beautiful to be able to feel that way! My personal style is coming back now after a few years of leggings and a hoodie as a mom, haha! More mature now and more classic, but I will always keep the "with a twist" and add some fun colors here and there, because I love it.

You have a radiant energy about you right now. What advice would you offer to girls navigating life after a breakup?

It will get better, do things that makes YOU feel good. If it's going for walks, extra self care, have fun with friends, cuddle with family and all the things that makes YOU feel the best. After a while that will make you see that life is pretty awesome!

You’re an inspiration to girls globally, who inspires you?

So many people, but especially my mom and sister. I'm such a family-lover and my family is everything to me, and I will always be inspired by them.

What fashion items are currently on your wish list, and which trends are you excited to embrace for the upcoming colder months?

Oh tricky one! I want an extra fluffy jacket, leather gloves and a nice pair of winter boots. That's all on my shopping list right now! In Sweden we get cold weather and snow, something I'm not so used to after living abroad for the last 8 years (moved back here 1,5 years ago), so this fashion is fun for me after not having that many fluffy jackets and winter boots.

Lastly, what are your top 3 summer destinations and what makes them so special?  Oh don't do this to me, I can't pick haha!

  1. Indonesia will always have a special place in my heart. Just love the vibe there, Bali and Lombok are my favorites.
  2. Marbella in Spain, will always feel like my second home. Spent so many years there and had a house there, also gave birth to both my kids there. Good food, good vibe and mostly amazing weather.
  3. Formentera, do I even have to explain? The most amazing water, white beaches and every time I've been there I always feel the most relaxed. A must visit in life, I can't wait to go back, haven't been there in a few years.
